Pickerel River Trailer Park Tenants / Lessees

Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic Henvey Inlet First Nation Trailer Park is closed for the season until further notice, Year-round lessees that reside on first nation land only.
HIW in the news...
HIW project is moving ahead as planned.
A provincial government announcement to cancel renewable energy projects will not affect Henvey Inlet Wind.
Premier Kathleen Wynne announced last week that the Liberals are scrapping plans for close to $4 billion of renewable energy projects. President and CEO of Nigig Power Corporation says the announcement doesn’t affect the Henvey Inlet Win project.

Pickerel River Road gets face-lift
Motorists will enjoy the freshly hard-topped road and driveways in Pickerel. The project took about five weeks to complete and will see savings on road maintenance, and most likely be easier on people’s vehicles.

The Jordan’s Principle Coordinator reports to the Band Representative Lead and is responsible for coordinating support and services for Henvey Inlet First Nation families who have children with unmet needs or disabilities in accordance with the Jordan’s Principle funding framework as set by Indigenous Services Canada.
