Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic Henvey Inlet First Nation Trailer Park is closed for the season until further notice, Year-round lessees that reside on first nation land only.
Hydro One reminds all members of the public to always stay clear of downed power lines or equipment. Never assume they are safe to approach!

HIW project is moving ahead as planned.
A provincial government announcement to cancel renewable energy projects will not affect Henvey Inlet Wind.
Premier Kathleen Wynne announced last week that the Liberals are scrapping plans for close to $4 billion of renewable energy projects. President and CEO of Nigig Power Corporation says the announcement doesn’t affect the Henvey Inlet Win project.

OTTAWA— The Canadian province of Ontario, fast becoming a clean energy powerhouse, said on Thursday it has approved 40 new large-scale renewable power projects that will create 7,000 jobs and attract $3-billion in private sector investment.
Motorists will enjoy the freshly hard-topped road and driveways in Pickerel. The project took about five weeks to complete and will see savings on road maintenance, and most likely be easier on people’s vehicles.
