Call for Proposals: Web Design for Henvey Inlet First Nation's Child and Family Wellbeing Project
Henvey Inlet First Nation (HIFN) invites proposals from qualified and creative web design professionals or firms to develop a dedicated website for their Child and Family Wellbeing Project.
This important initiative, supported by Indigenous Services Canada, aims to reassert HIFN’s jurisdiction over the care and protection of its children and families.
About the Project
The HIFN Child and Family Wellbeing Project is a community-driven effort to create laws, policies, and administrative systems to govern the care and protection of HIFN children and families.
Henvey Inlet First Nation is seeking a temporary, full-time Education Administrative Assistant to join our Administration for a 6-month contract. The Education Administrative Assistant reports to the Education Counsellor and is responsible for providing ongoing administrative support for the Education Department to ensure smooth operation of educational support programs. The Education Administrative Assistant will assist with documenting, tracking and reporting on training and education programs and initiatives. This position requires exceptional organization and time-management skills and strong computer skills.
Henvey Inlet First Nation is seeking a Secondary School Bus Driver to join our Administration for a temporary, 5-month contract for the 2024-25 school year. The Secondary School Bus Driver reports to the Education Counsellor and is responsible for transporting students of various ages to and from their homes and respective schools in a timely and safe manner and in accordance with MTO driving regulations, Ontario traffic laws and safe driving practices. This position requires excellent organization, communication and customer service skills.

Henvey Inlet First Nation is a casual Gas Bar Attendant to join our Administration. The Gas Bar Attendant reports to the Gas Bar Manager and is responsible for the sale of fuel and other automotive products and in-store merchandise, including tobacco products. The Gas Bar Attendant is also responsible for processing all point-of-sale transactions via cash, credit or debit card using an electronic scanner and cash register. This position requires a high level of personal integrity and superior customer service skills.
