Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the electors of the Henvey Inlet First Nation will be held at the Henvey Inlet Fire Hall on Thursday the 4th day of February, 2021, beginning at 5:00 o'clock p.m. and lasting for at least three hours to conclude at 8:00 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of nominating candidates for the positions of Chief and Councillors on the Band Council of said Band, for the next ensuing term.

The ECE Worker reports to the Daycare Supervisor and is responsible for providing supervision and direct childcare to children attending the HIFN Daycare, in compliance with all regulatory standards required by federal, provincial and First Nations legislation, policies and procedures. Under the leadership of the Daycare Supervisor, the ECE worker will help to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for the children using a variety of teaching techniques in alignment with HIFN Daycare Philosophy. The Nurse Practitioner reports to the Health Director and is responsible for providing primary health care services in the areas of health promotion, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and support. The Nurse Practitioner assesses and diagnoses clients’ health for acute illnesses and supports clients to manage chronic illness. The Nurse Practitioner is also responsible for consulting with doctors, medical practitioners and community health specialists as required in order to provide safe and timely patient care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario’s Standards of Practice Registered Nurses in the Extended Class. This position requires exceptional interpersonal communication and advocacy skills and strong attention to detail.
