Notice to Electorate - Nominees on Ballot, Revised

For the Henvey Inlet First Nation Election to be held on March 18th, 2021.

The Polling Station for the Election will be located at the Henvey Inlet Fire Hall. Voting will be held for One Chief and Six Councillor positions. Mail-out ballots to all members will be sent out on the morning of February 11th, 2021.

Henvey Inlet First Nation is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our Administration for an 18-month maternity leave contract. The Maintenance Assistant reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the maintenance of all current and future band-owned buildings and grounds including HIFN Administration Office, Commercial Rental Offices, Health Centre, Daycare, Playground Areas, 4-Plex, Ball Field, Pow Wow Grounds, Helipad, 8-Plex, Learning Centre, Lands Office, and Fire Hall.

Trailer Park Assistant 

Henvey Inlet First Nation is seeking a Trailer Park Assistant to join our Administration for a short-term seasonal contract from May 2021 to October 2021. The Trailer Park Assistant reports to the Trailer Park Manager and is responsible for assisting with operations and grounds maintenance for the trailer park and marina. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.

Trust Coordinator/Membership Clerk

The part-time Trust Coordinator/Membership Clerk will serve two primary purposes.

The first primary purpose is to support Henvey Inlet First Nation Administration as it relates to support the Henvey Inlet First Nation Windfarm Legacy Trust (“the Trust”) Board of Trustees. For these responsibilities, they will report directly to the Board of Trustees through the Corporate Trustee and will responsible for coordinating and liaising with the Board of Trustees and Membership to assist in fulfilling the terms and conditions of the Trust Deed.

For the clients who utilize the Medical Transportation Vehicle, this is a reminder that your appointments are to be booked for 10:00 am at the earliest and 2:30 pm the latest for either Sudbury, Parry Sound or Britt appointments!!!

Appointments will not be added unless between these times!!
