Due to the high volume of information, especially legal documents, the following additional information can be requested:

  • Environmental Assessment
  • Land Survey Maps
  • Incorporation Papers, Bekanon Corporation for Community Development
  • Incorporation Papers, Bekanon Lease Management Corporation LTD.
  • Bekanon Limited Partnership Agreement
  • Bekanon Trust Agreement
  • Proposed Head Lease between the Crown and Bekanon Limited Partnership.

All of these documents will be available at the community information meetings.
In addition, you can ask for an appointment with the Referendum Coordinator, Ken Noble, to gain more details about the process in person. Please contact Millie Pawis to set up an appointment.

Henvey Inlet First Nation is currently seeking a Secondary School Bus Driver to join our Administration for a temporary, short-term contact for up to 6 months. The Secondary School Bus Driver reports to the Education Counsellor and is responsible for transporting students of various ages to and from their homes and respective schools in a timely and safe manner and in accordance with MTO driving regulations, Ontario Traffic Laws and safe driving practices.

Housing and Finance Assistant

Henvey Inlet First Nation is seeking a full-time Housing and Finance Assistant to join our Administration. The Housing and Finance Assistant reports to the Director of Finance/Administration and is responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance for all Band-owned housing units and supervising all housing maintenance and repairs. The Housing and Finance Assistant receives and reviews all housing applications and inquiries, and, in collaboration with the Housing Committee, recommends tenants to Chief and Council for vacant units in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth in the Housing Policy.

For the clients who utilize the Medical Transportation Vehicle, this is a reminder that your appointments are to be booked for 10:00 am at the earliest and 2:30 pm the latest for either Sudbury, Parry Sound or Britt appointments!!!
