Committee reviewed remaining sections of the Draft Land Codes. Community will be kept up to date via its website. Jennifer will take pictures for committee bios on the website, so that off-reserve members will know who is on the committee. Committee members are to submit their bios to Terry by weeks end.
Committee discussion around Wills, Estates and Matrimonial Real Property. Members expressed concern over the non-member widow(er) of a band member. How long will that person be allowed to stay in the community? Or how will this be codified? Issue was not resolved at this meeting, and will continue to be discussed at future meetings.
Dispute Panel Resolution discussion included powers of panel and if decisions are binding on Chief and Council;
