Final Land Code

The Final Land Code is ready for review!

It has been sent to all Band Members of voting age for review in preparation for the final vote.

Community consultation meetings are scheduled for:

• Sudbury – October 21
• Toronto – October 24th 

Location:  The Courtyard by Marriott – 475 Yonge Street
Time:  2:00 PM
Dinner Buffet:  5:00 PM

Henvey Inlet First Nation – Fire Hall – October 25th – Cancelled

• Killarney – November 1st
• Sault Ste. Marie – November 7th

The final Land Code and associated documents have been sent to Band Members for a vote to accept or reject the option of transferring land management authorities to Henvey Inlet First Nation from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada.  Voting is currently underway.  Check out the Notice of Vote for more information.
