Henvey Inlet First Nation Anishinaabek Wiidosendiwak Initiative
Fill out the Anishinaabek Wiidosendiwak community survey to be entered to win! Over $2000 worth of prizes to be won across age groups!
The Anishinaabek Wiidosendiwak initiative (formerly the HIFN Child and Family Wellbeing Project), supported by Indigenous Services Canada, seeks to reclaim jurisdiction over the care and protection of HIFN’s children and families.
As community members may know, this initiative focuses on developing a child welfare Law which will take precedence over provincial law when it comes to Henvey’s children and families.
To develop this law, we need to gain information from the community through engagements and consultation. One of the ways we are engaging with HIFN members, both on- and off-reserve, is through a community survey.
Please fill out the survey, which can be found here: https://forms.office.com/r/W2EqAVf1Ss, for a chance to win! And keep an eye out for future gatherings so your voice can be heard in the development of Henvey’s Law!
