8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only serving the community, not the public.

15th COVID 19 UPDATE July 16, 2020
We met yesterday to approve new policies of the First Nation that we would implement upon reopening the Administration. These policies are required in order to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors to our offices.
A new Preventing COVID 19 in the Workplace Policy, Personal Protective Equipment in the Workplace Policy, and Heat Stress Prevention and Hot Weather Policy were all on the agenda. These will be made available upon re-opening the Administration.
14th COVID 19 UPDATE July 2, 2020
In keeping with the Premier Doug Ford's gradual re-opening of the province, we have made the decision to keep everything status quo until July 15, 2020.
A total of 22 questionnaires were submitted and reviewed at the Council meeting of June 30, 2020. It was clear that members do not want anyone entering the Pickerel R Trailer Park or the leased lands. It was evident that members would like to see the security remain in place still. However, in keeping with the Province and what is going on around us, we are going to remove the security effective July 15, 2020.
12th COVID 19 UPDATE June 11, 2020
Although, by the authority of the Premier Doug Ford, it's been reported that implementation of Phase 2 of the Province's strategy to reopen ce1tain businesses and service providers, we will continue to operate the status quo. Restricted access to our community will remain in place, with services.

If you've been watching the news lately it's apparent that COVID 19 is still a serious health threat. Having learned that Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario has extended the State of Emergency to June 30, 2020, we agree with this decision, and so these are the highlights of our recent meeting.

10th COVID 19 UPDATE May 28, 2020
As each day passes, we continue to monitor the COVID 19 reports of new cases, and they are not going down. Today, we've discussed the following:
- Restricted Access (Roadblocks) Pickerel R Rd. and Bekanon Rd.
Members with spouses that may be nonmembers of HIFN are allowed into the community, however when these visits occur, we expect no unnecessary contact with on-reserve members.

Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic Henvey Inlet First Nation Trailer Park is closed for the season until further notice, Year-round lessees that reside on first nation land only.
